Accelerate Sports served as the sell-side investment bank and financial advisor to Andy Barroway in the sale of 95% of the team to Alex Meruelo. Accelerate worked on every aspect of the transaction including negotiations, financial modeling, presentations, and working with the NHL to close the transaction. In the transaction, Mr. Meruelo became the first Hispanic majority owner in the NHL.
